RITES SATURDAY FOR M. C. DIMICK

Marshall C. Dimick, 78, well known farmer and lifelong resident of this community, died at his home three and a half miles east of Bowling Green, at 6:00 P. M. Wednesday. Mr. Dimick had been in failing health of several years and had been bedfast since July 11. Death was due to a complication of ills.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:00 P. M. in Deck's Funeral Home. The Rev. William C. McKeever, of First Baptist Church, will conduct the rites. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at Deck's Friday from 4:00 to 9:00 P.M.

Mr. Dimick was born in Lyme, N.H., Dec. 13, 1867. At the age of four he came to Toledo with his parents. They lived there four years and then came to Bowling Green for a few months, later moving to the Dimick farm, now the Ketzenbarger farm. In 1900 Mr. Dimick was united in marriage with Miss Martha Meeker and they moved to a farm along the Portage River, later purchasing their present fine farm.

Mr. Dimick was a member of First Baptist Church and was a deacon at the time of his death. He was always interested and busy in church work as well as in civic affairs, and he was a wonderful father, devoted to a home and family, and a successful farmer.

Surviving are his wife and the following sons and daughters: Leland, Gerald, Mary and Ruth, of Bowling Green; Mrs. H. W. Edmonds, Tyrone, PA, and Mrs. Mark Shedron, Louisville, Ky. Prof. Chester Dimick, a cousin of Gales Ferry, Conn., is the only other living relative.
