307Train-Auto Crash Kills Weston Man

WESTON, O., March 17 - James O. Lashuay, 34, Weston, was killed last night when a Baltimore & Ohio freight train struck his automobile at the Oak St. grade crossing here.
Mr. Lashuay is survived by his wife, Helen; a daughter, Chloetta; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Vern Lashuay, Weston, and a sister, Mrs. Verrien Morrison, Bradner.
Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. in the residence. The body is in the Loomis Funeral Home.

592INSTANTLY KILLED BY A FAST FREIGHT AT WESTON CROSSING
James Osborn Lashuay, 34, was instantly killed at 7:00 P. M. Thursday night when his automobile was struck by a fast south-bound freight train on the B. & O. Oak Street crossing, Weston. He was hurled from the automobile and his skull crushed. The car was carried fifty or sixty feet.
The body is at the Loomis Mortuary; and friends may view it there till about nine A. M. Monday. The funeral services will be private and will be held at the home Monday at two P. M. Burial will be in the Weston Cemetery.
He was born to Vern and Leah Lashuay December 7, 1909, in Weston and he had maintained his home here. He drove a truck for Weston Township. He and his family made their home with his parents.
His wife is the former Helen Sly, daughter of Sanford Sly, of Bowling Green; and they have a daughter, Chloretta. He also leaves a sister, Mrs. Verrien Morrison, of Bradner.
Coroner F. V. Boyle and Sheriff Isch investigated the collision.
