“Timothy served in the Revolution at the Battle of Springfield on 23 Jun 1780 at age 70 with 9 of his sons, 4 sons-in-law, and two grandsons. Old Timothy’s participation in the militia was recorded in the New York “Gazette and Weekly Mercury” on 29 Jul 1776.”48
