I have McBurnie in my tree. They settled in Newton and Dalmellington in Ayr but they originated in Down, Ireland. I have a William McBurnie born about 1826 in Down and married Mary Cook in June of 1851 in Ayr. Williams parents were Alexander McBurnie and Mary Ann Carsewell. I was wondering if you knew were your McBurnies were from?

Her married name was McBurnie.
