I have obtained four rolls of Microfilm for this newspaper from the North Dakota State Historical Society. I will be transcribing some of the major events that happen in and around Gackle. This paper was a weekly, published on Fridays.
The spelling and punctuation are as I find them. Added comments and/or corrections not found in the newspaper will be bracketed [_]. Items from community columns will be identified with the name of that city otherwise the news item is from the local Gackle column.
