Mrs. Patrick Services
SARCOXIE-Susan L. Patrick,30, Sarcoxie Route 2,died at 2:04p.m. Sunday at St. John's Regional Medical Center, Joplin, after an illness since December 1986.
 Born June 13, 1957,at The Dalles,Ore.,she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard F. Classen. She was a member of the Pentecostal Tabernacle Church in Carthage.
 She was married to Gene E. Patrick on Aug. 30, 1971,at Avilla.He survives.
 Additional survivors include two sons Shane Patrick and Travis Patrick, both of the home; a daughter Catherine Patrick, of the home; two brothers Richard H. Classen, Avilla and Gary A. Classen,Dodge City,Kan,; two sisters Carol A. Axtell, Avilla, and Patricia D. Spangler,Avilla; a half-brother Rick Classen, Portland,Ore., and a half-sister Rosalee Classen, Portland.
 One sister Linda L. Froshauer preceded her in death in April of 1979.
 Services will be 2p.m. Tuesday at The Ulmer Funeral Home.The Rev. Howard R. Graham will officiate, with burial in the Avilla Cemetery.

Services for Mrs. Gladys B. Patrick, 64, Reeds, who died Thursday at her home, will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Ulmer Funeral home.
 The Rev. Darrell Conness will officiate. Burial will be in Reeds Cemetery.

Columbus A. Patrick
Golden City,MO.--Trever Eugene Patrick, infant son of Shane and Alyssa Patrick, died Monday morning, Nov. 3, 1997, at his home in rural Lockwood after an illness. He was born Oct. 14, 1997, at Lamar.
 Additional survivors include a sister, Shaina Patrick, of the home; paternal grandparents, Gene and Kay Patrick, Walnut Grove; maternal grandparents, Steve and Deanna Leapple, Lamar; paternal great-grandparents, Florence Sullivan, Golden City, and Raymond Patrick, Carthage; and maternal great-grandmother, Jean Leapple, Lamar.
 Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Pugh Funeral Home, Golden City, with the Rev. Kevin Sheat officiating. Burial will be in Avilla Cemetery, Avilla.
 Pallbearers will be David Stout and Travis Patrick.
 Contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.

Dies At Age Of 85
 Columbus Abraham Patrick, 85, retired quarryman and farmer, died at 6:00 last night in McCune-Brooks hospital, where he was a patient two weeks.
 Mr. Patrick had been a resident of Carthage and vicinity 40 years. He was born March 22, 1875, in Douglas county, Missouri and was married May 22, 1897, in Sparta to Elizabeth Maggard. Mrs. Maggard died Nov. 7, 1958.
 He was employed a number of years in the old Center Creek quarries.
 Surviving are three sons, Harvey Patrick, route 1, Ellis Patrick 1102 south Maple and Earl Patrick of the family home on route 3; two daughters, Mrs. William Willis, route 3 and Mrs. Howard Ritchie, Wichita; 28 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
 Mr. Patrick was a member of the Baptist church.
 Funeral services will be at 3 Friday afternoon at the Knell mortuary. Burial will be in Park cemetery.

 Mrs. Elizabeth Patrick, 78, wife of Columbus A. Patrick, route 3, died at 2:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon in McCune-Brooks hospital where she had been a patient since Nov. 14.
 She was born in Letcher county, Kentucky on March 14, 1880. In 1891 her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Francis Maggard came to Missouri where the daughter, Elizabeth, grew up. She was married May 23, 1897, in Douglas county, Missouri to Mr. Patrick. They observed their 61st wedding anniversary last May.
 Following their marriage the Patricks lived near Ava and came to Jasper county in 1920. Surviving her are the husband; two daughters, Mrs. William Willis, route 2 and Mrs. Howard Ritchie, Wichita; three sons, Harvey Patrick, Reeds route 1, Ellis Patrick, 1102 South Maple street and Earl Patrick of the home; a sister, Mrs. Sampy Maggard, Elkhead, Mo.; a brother, John Maggard, Wentworth; 28 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
 A nephew, Ralph Edward Maggard, 15, son of John Maggard, died Tuesday at the home of his parents in Wentworth. Funeral services were conducted today for the youth.
 Funeral services for Mrs. Patrick will be held at 2:30 tomorrow afternoon at the Knell mortuary. The Rev. Arthur Schmidly of Joplin will be in charge. Burial will be in Park cemetery.
 Cecil E. Patrick, 69, of Carthage, who died at 3 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2000 at St. John�s Regional Medical Center in Joplin, Mo.
 Mr. Patrick was born Feb. 11, 1931 at Jasper County, Mo. to Harvey Tilford Patrick and Gladys Bell Adams Patrick. He was a longtime resident of the Carthage area. He was a crusher operator of the former Carthage Marble Co. He was a member of the Pentecostal Church.
 He married Lela Watkins on Dec. 17, 1982 in Miami, Okla. She survives.
 Additional survivors include eight sons, Tim Patrick of Pierce City, Mo., Charles Cleveland of Carthage, Carl Cleveland of Mt. Vernon, Mo., Jessie Cleveland of Sarcoxie, Mo., Russell Fenton and John Lemmons of Carthage, Ray �Jr.� Black of Goodman, Mo., and Clifford Walker of Joplin; five daughters, Patsy Jo Doty and Edith Black of Carthage, Ellen Robinson of Webb City, Mo., and Marie Baker and Vonda Brattin, both of Joplin; six brothers, Odis Lee Patrick of Webb City, Gene Patrick, Glenn Patrick and Raymond Patrick, all of Carthage, Kenneth (Doogie) Patrick of Stockton, Mo., and Tony Patrick of Sarcoxie; five sisters, Jane Williams and Virginia (Cherry) Stewart of Springfield, Mo., Velma Leullen of Willard, Mo., and Shirley Patrick of Webb City; 32 grandchildren and 17 step grandchildren.
 He was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Patrick, and a sister, Leona Maggard.
 Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 13, at Ulmer Funeral Home Chapel in Carthage. Visitation will be from 7-8- p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Carthage. Arrangements are under the direction of Ulmer Funeral Home, Carthage.
