Delphine L. classen, 47,Avilla, died at 10:15 p.m.
Monday at the Aurora Nursing Center where she had been a patient
since July 10. She had been in failing health the past three months.
Survivors include her husband Richard F. Classen,Joplin;her mother
Mrs. Mae Rhodes, Portland,Ore.;two sons Richard and Gary Classen,
both of the home;four daughters Patty Schrader,Avilla; Linda Froschauer,
1713 Oak St.,Cathage; Susan Patrick,La Russell Route 1, and Carol
Classen of the home;two brothers Floyd Rhodes, Spokane,Wash., and
James Rhodes, Portland,Ore.; three sisters Mrs. Harold Belfield,
state of Washington; Mrs. Orrin Gehrke, Hillsboro,Ore., and Mrs.
Herb Schwieger, Grand Island,Neb.; a grandmother Mrs. Ollie Richardson,
Hastings,Neb.; and seven grandchildren.

| Richard F. Classen, 58, Avilla, died at 6:40
a.m. today at Nevada State Hospital after a long illness.
Born Dec. 1, 1922 in Humphrey, Neb., he moved to Avilla in
1970 from Fresno, Calif. His wife Delphine Rhodes Classen preceeded
him in death July 24, 1978.
Surviving are three sons Richard Classen and Gary Classen,
both of Avilla, and Richard J. Classen Jr., state of Oregon; four
daughters Mrs. Patty Schrader, Avilla; Mrs. Susan Patrick, La Russell
Route 1; Carol Classen, Avilla, and Mrs. Rosalee Hudson, state of
Oregon; his father William F. Classen, Portland,Ore., three brothers
Bill Classen, Melvin Classen and Bob Classen, all of Portland; two
sisters Mrs. Betty Schultz, Fresno, Calif., and Mrs. Diane Coto,
Portland, and eight grandchildren.
Services will be announced by Ulmer Funeral Home.

Lebert Creek's Rites Wednesday

Services for Lebert Creek, 42, of 24 West
Fairview St., a furniture upholsterer, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday
in the Tulsa-Whisenhunt Funeral Home chapel. He died of cancer Sunday
night at the Muskogee Veteran's Hospital.
Born at Arkansas City, Kan., he lived South West City, Mo.,
and El Reno before coming to Tulsa 12 years ago. He operated an
upholstery business at his home. During World War II he served in
the Army's European Theater.
Surviving are the widow, Leberta; two sons, James and Danny
Creek, and a daughter Barbara Creek, all of the home; two sisters,
Mrs. Cecil Lynch, Broken Arrow, and Mrs. Ike Cummings, Chandler;
wo half-brothers, Leonard Briggle, Nowata, and Joe Briggle, Oklahoma
City, and a half-sister, Mrs. Vida Maggard, LaRussell, Mo.
Interment will be at Rose, Okla.
