[6163] He sold his 14 acres with the house and blacksmith shop shortly afterthe death of his first wife, Sarah. He turned up in Bristol, then inMA in 1712 where a baby girl, named Sarah, was born to his secondwife. There is no record that he purchased any property there.

[6165] About a month after the death of Sarah, Ichabod sold his land andpossessions in Rehoboth. There is no trace of him again until 1712when he appears with his second wife, Mary, in Bristol (then MA), RI.Their daughter, Sarah, was born there in Oct 1712. He probably wentfrom there to Bellingham, MA and Cumberland (then MA), RI

This part of Mendon became Bellingham, which was created from Dedham,Mendon and Wrentham in 1719.
