[13] Harold worked his way through high school at Illinois Normal andthrough college. He had a football scholarship, but was unable to keepit beyond the first year because of the time three jobs and hisstudies took. He graduated in 1930 from the College of Agriculturewith a major in Dairy Science.
[10] Cause of death was cancer of the prostate.
[12] A memorial service was held at the Scottsdale Methodist Church onMiller Road. His youngest brother, Bill, gave the eulogy. He wascremated and buried at Paradise Memorial Gardens in Scottsdale.
[9334] Grandpa Augustinus would not give his permission for them to marryuntil Harold was earning $5000 a year. In the depression that was alot of money. Finally Harold got a job in Flint, Michigan and theywere able to get married.

Samuel, age 50, left London, England for New England on the[IT:Increase:IT] 15 Apr 1635 with his wife, Elizabeth, age 48, JosephMorse, age 20, and Elizabeth Daniel, age 2. He settled first inWatertown, MA where he was admitted to the church and where his sonDaniel had already settled; but moved to Dedham when it was firstsettled in 1636. He was prominent as a first settler and a member ofthe first church at its organization; he was a freeman, 8 Oct 1640,and a town officer.
His last days were spent in the home of his daughter, Mary atMedfield, which was set off from Dedham in 1651.
