[1898] Came over in the Hercules, 1634, with his brother William. In 1640 hewas residing in Weymouth and there his first child was born. Removedto Billerica in 1647, to Braintree, and again in 1659 in Billerica.

In his later life he was often reprimanded for not attending theorthodox church services. He ultimately confessed to "constant andordinary frequenting the meeting of the Anabaptists on Lord's day."

[9540] This date needs proving. Some sources say she was a widow, ElizabethWhitmore.
