James noted in his pension affadavit of 17 Aug 183- residence inLittle Compton, Woodstock, CT, Thompson, CT, and about 1803 Richmond,VT. His widow Patience applied from Bolton, VT 18 Dec 1842 for herrights. James in his pension named all his children with theirbirthdates which agree with a family record in DAR files with somevariation in the names of two children. Their birthplaces are notestablished.
