[8237] They lived at Weston and Stratford, CT. In the winter of 1795-6 theymoved to what is now Monroe county, NY, and with other settlers fro CTlocated in the town called Perrinton, in honor of Glover Perrin, oneof the founders of the settlement.

[8233] Served in Capt. Able's co. and was taken prisoner at the fall of FortWashington.

Samuel Bennett, (1755-1819), enlisted from Fairfield, Conn., and wascaptured at Fort Washington. Of five hundred prisoners on the�Grosvenor� he was one of ninety-five who lived to be removed to the�Sugar House� and when exchanged there were but eighteen survivors andhe was a cripple for life.
