Ed Price background

EDWARD PRICE

 TEXT OF ARTICLE

Edward Price, about 70, well known Ward township farmer, was fatally injured shortly before noon today when he fell from a load of fodder. He struck the paving and was dead when brought to the hospital in Osceola.

The accident occurred about 1 o'clock this morning. He and his brother were hauling fodder from a field near their house. The brother was driving and Ed was riding at the back. It is surmised that the wind tipped the load and he fell off, striking his head on the concrete.

He was breathing when picked up and Howard Key, traveling man from Creston, placed the injured man in his car and rushed him to a hospital but Mr. Price was dead when examined at the hospital.

The body was taken to the Webster Funeral Home. Time of the services may be learned by telephoning the funeral home.
