- Andreas Bodenstein
was born circa 1744 in Ortshausen, Germany. His son, Johann "Heinrich" Christian Bodenstein, was born September 25, 1795 in Ortshausen, Braunschweig, Germany, and died October 13, 1871 in Cape Girardeau County, Missouri. He married Johanna Marie Dorothee Achtermann February 08, 1829 in Bornum, Germany, daughter of Heinrich Achtermann and N. Reinecke.
