Frederick Wilhelm Lohmann is our immigrant ancestor having come to America from Osnabrück, Germany prior to 1860 when he is shown on the St. Louis census records.1 He married Dorothea Christian Franke on November 17, 1864 in South St. Louis, Missouri. Both he and his wife are buried in the Concordia Cemetery (New Saxon Cemetery), St Louis, Missouri.2

They had 11 children: Gustav, Dorothea, Fritz, Augusta, Theodore, Edward Carl, Wilhelm, Anton, Fredericka, & Clara.
