(1)  Marcine Lohman

Benedict Walperswiller, Sr. immigrated to the United States in 1853 from his native land of Switzerland and settled in Cape Girardeau County, Missouri. As far as I can tell, he came alone. He was born May 1827 in Seedorf, Verwaltungskreis Seeland, Bern, Switzerland and died in 1909 in Gordonville, Cape Girardeau County, Missouri. He married Johanna S. W. Amelunke, the daughter of Heinrich "Christian" Amelunke and Johanne Marie Friederike Klusmann (Klußmann), on February 3, 1865 in Cape Girardeau County, Missouri.1
