One of the largest issues that I ran into when first starting out was the lack of information out there on my family lines. It was like my family history did not exist anywhere. Around 1977 I began adding my family information to Ancestery.com and over a period of time other user trees on Ancestry began appearing with matching information. By the mid 1980’s our family line was clearly established on Ancestry and was growing every year with new ancestral lines and family connections.
