Rosario and his wife Doris Levallee were the witnesses. They were under age at the time to be married without the parents' consents. Rosario and Ted lied and said that they were from Coventry, when in fact they were from Connecticut. He also gave their birth years as 1915, when in fact they were 1917 and 1919, in order to make them both over 21. It is also thought that, unbeknownst to her, they lied to the minister in saying that she was pregnant and they had to get married, when this was not the case. Romeo's daughter, as she is certain of. She lived in an orphanage in Connecticut

father Romeo's sister Joan Belanger: 'When mother Cecile deserted subject and
Romeo, Romeo took the subject to his mother Rosa Barrette's home. Word got to
an old family friend in Northbridge named Theresa Tessier through cousins there
that the subject was available for adoption. Her sister Germanie Boileau, living
on the first floor of the Hisiores' building in Northbridge, could not get pregnant,
and her and her husband Ted decided to adopt the subject.' However, seven years
later, subject's step-sister was born. After she knew the truth, subject always
considered herself a part of the Lemoine family back in Danielson, notably evidenced
by attending Romeo's aunt Rosealma Hisoire's funeral. She lived in Linwood,
MA about 1945. About 1960 she was a Nurse's Aide in Whitinsville,

Infantry Division, World War II. Private First Class. Rifleman. Recieved the
Purple Heart Award. Fought in the European, African, and Middle Eastern theatres.
Participated in the invasion of France, Belgium, Holland, and Germany. Was
said to have been wounded at Brest, France. On August 25, 1944, his division
initiated the attack on the outer defenses of Brest and made an all-out assault
on the fortress city on September 8th. The Germans surrendered the city on September
18th. The capture of Brest was important to re-establish it as a shipping port
