Having gathered so much data, and being keen to help others in tracking the various scratchings of this surname, I have become a member of the Guild of One-Name Studies, registering the surname CHICKEN and its variants, and am more than happy to help anyone with any query about it. My studies fall into Category B of the Guild's grading scheme.
