my name is matthew gee and i'm from vancouver, my chinese grandfather's first name was "Gan" or something similar to that, perhaps George was derived from that? it's very unlikely we're related, but if we are, then we wouldn't share the same grandmother. apparently my grandfather took a second wife when he moved to vancouver.
