Wow - I hardly know any other Szeto's - and now there are posts from all over the world. I hadn't heard anything about positions of power held in ancient China until now - nor the story of the fleeing clan. My grandparents grew up in Canton, China. My grandfather spells his name 'Szeto' and I believe his brother spells it 'Seeto' (they spelt it differently when they migrated to Australia). And I know I have quite a few relatives with that second variation of my name.

I know there are a lot of Seeto's who set up in Papua New Guinea. My own family set up in Vanuatu (South Pacific). However I didn't know of anyone who had set up in the Solomon Islands.

I moved to Sydney, Australia - but am currently in the UK. I have Szeto relatives in Australia, Canada and Tuvalu.
