Hi , I am Loong Kok Poay from Malaysia. My dad migrate from Sihui, Quangdong, China to Malaysia during the 1930's. We are of the sihui dialect (cantonese). However in Malaysia, those with surname LOONG are Hainanese. I am curious as to my origin or my upline. Did my ancestors migrate from Hainan to Quangdong or are they from sihui, Quang dong to Hainan? I appreciated if anyone who are cantonese (sihui) tocontact me or our LOONG brethren of who Hainanese to contact me so we can share our stories and try to trace our roots. Thank you.
