My maternal grandfather, surname TAM, was born in the early 1900's in Hoi Ping, Guangdong Province. As a boy, he immigrated to Rabaul, Papua New Guinea. Then to Australia in the '70's with us.
My paternal grandparents were from Guangdong province also.
