Duong is considered an interpritation for the Chinese last name Yang, Vietnam used to have the same style word scripture in their language as the chinese words, but during the occupation of France there was an influence with the french language in combination with original province chinese language of vietnam, thats why there is alot of mix race decades ago to present day vietnam, hope I can be helpful.
