You may know this already, but there is a number of Achon's listed on passenger lists and census data on the Ancestry.com website, www.ancestry.com Just do a search on "Achon" and "China". There were at one time about 40,000 Chinese residing in Barrio Chino in Havana in the late 1800's. It is reasonable to expect that at least some Chinese migrated to the US from Cuba after completing their labor contracts at the plantations in Cuba.
