hi, im diane from philippines.looking at the entries posted here its been awhile since the last post.however im still hoping that my piece of information will help. my grandfather is benjamin atjao suela..he was born in philippines on march 26,1917. his father was kwan atjao from macau a businessman who went to phils. to my knowledge(according to my grandfather) he has older siblings in macau and hongkong from his dad's previous marriage. my grandfather was brought to hongkong after the tragic event when their house was caught on fire, which lost the lives of his siblings and mom. he was educated in hongkong, and frequently visit their house in macau.it was in late 1930s he went back to phils.
i know its impossible to trace up our ancestry, hope this info could shed some light. btw my grandfather migrated to the US on 1993. at the age of 92, he is confined in loma londa university hospital suffered from stroke and he is on comatose. we are keeping our hopes high on him.
