My parents Arthur and Lotte(Silbermann)Pick also were on the the General Gordon with my brother who was under 6 months at the time.They left Shanghai in 1947 but I do not know the month.I was born in the U.S. in 1948.My dad passed away over 7 years ago told me the people were very sea sick and the food was terrible.
