Pablo was the Captain of the Filipino civil guards in the service of Spain. He defected to the Filipino side with mariano a leiutenant in the same unit, due to simon. He capture and befriended the American captain charles roberts and after a year he was released, pablo took oath of allegiance to the american and was appointed military governor of Bulacan.
