Carlos,

I think the odds of finding your relatives are much better if you are able to go back and visit your "Nam Chuen" village and quiz the elders there who are likely to remember your grandfather and his siblings. There is also a good possibility that your village will have a Ng family clan genealogy book called a "jook po" in Cantonese which most likely will have your grandfather's name in it. The "jook po" will be written in Chinese, of course. Using this as a starting point will better enable you to trace the whereabouts of your relatives.

Anyway, your village can be found in the Village Database website, http://www.c-c-c.org/villagedb/search.cgi It gives the following information: COUNTY: ÖÐɽ Chung Shan/ZhNng ShN¡n; AREA: #2 (which is Lung Doo); HEUNG: Æìɽàl Kay Shan Heung (which contains 9 villages); VILLAGE OF INTEREST: ÄÏLå Nam Chuen (Îé,²Ü NG & CHO are dominant family clan names in that village.)

Good luck on your genealogical search.......

Raymond
