Sorry for the very late reply. I'm not sure how far along you have progressed on your query with Al Chinn. Anyway, here is my educated guess as to the whereabouts of your village: Your village is probably in the Zengcheng City area which is due east and adjacent to Guangzhou, and I am basing this on my speculation that "Chengchuan Town" is the old Anglicized name for what now has evolved into Zengcheng City. "Lughu Gow" is probably the name of the old market town nearest your ancestral village of "Kei Chow". I suggest that you post your query on the siyi website.....a forum member there named Helen has extensive knowledge of the Zengcheng area since her family were from that area.
