I am the granddaughter of a Chinese immigrant from Amoy, China who migrated to the Philippines. My grandfather's name is UY CON SIONG. His relatives (nephews) were able to contact through letters but lost their address. My grandfather's latest address known by his relatives was 8 Mabini Street, Tagbilaran City, Bohol, Philippines.
We heard that he has a brother living in Sibonga, Cebu.
He has four children, the eldest, is my father, is 59 years old; a younger daughter who is 58 and two other sons.
A few years ago, a Chinese businessman from Bacolod City, Philippines was able to meet my grandfather's sister in China. She requested him to locate us. He was able to contact my father through the telephone and promised to report his findings to my grandfather's sister when he returns to China. But unfortunately, until now, we received no communication from him or from our relatives in China.
