I am also glad to see an interest in Chinese genealogy. I have located alot of documentation about my ancestors through immigration records available at the National Archives in San Bruno, California. Surnames I am researching are Won, Chan, Owyang and Jang, primarily immigrated from Zhongshan Province, China around the late 1800's-early 1900's,and settled in San Francisco and Walnut Grove areas.
