Hi there, I'm sort of just starting to do the roots thing too. My grandfather Yap Young came from China and immigrated to Jamaica. Reading through the listings I see some Yaps going to the Phillipines also. Geez. Wonder if somehow we could all be related. My grandfather had a brother who we think went to Singapore but Hawaii sounds nice also? We are of Hakka origin. I wonder how else we could find out if we are related. Good luck with your search.
