my last name is spelled Eng, but in chinese it's five also and from toishan. have you found out a lot about our family line? we're in the states right now, and my grandfather, thomas fon lem eng, came here when he was 12 to meet up with his father (goot foot eng), brother and sister. i'm not sure, but i think my grandfather said that his grandfather (my great great grandfather) was born in the US (is that at all possible??) and had 3 brothers. my grandfather has passed away, so any information/advice would be really helpful!
