I have chinese orgins, but cannot find the name that our
great grandfather gave "HEN" in the list could you please
suggest which name you think it may correspond to.
He came to Australia from Amoy (possibly only the point
of departure). He was a scribe and shepherd, he also worked
as a smith and with money on the gold fields.
There is a family legend that he was a distant cousin to
the emperor, whether this was true or not we will never know.
Could you please help.
I don't mind if you include my name on a page but just
make sure its a real one not one some offical made up when
my Great grandfather immigrated to Australia.

We think he was about 19 or 20 when he arrived. I will try and find more info from the shipping records soon.
