I am looking for my grandfather. His name is Ah-Chew or maybe Ah Kew. He was brought to Samoa as a chinese laborer in the plantations in Samoa that was run and operate by the Germans. He worked in the farm in Alafua Upolu, Western Samoa which was run by a Mumu Arp. Ah-Chew was in Samoa sometime around 1920 to 1934.
He took as his wife a woman name Fale Matofa Tavana and they haad a child born in July of 1930, which is my mother, Metuli Ah-Chew. My mother was about 3 or 4 years old when he dad was taken back to China. If anyone know of a list of Chinese workers that was in Samoa at the time period listed above or a list of chinese workers that was returned to Chine or Hong Kong in the 1933 or 1934 or around or about this time, please sent it my way. Or maybe a list of chinese worker that worked in Alafua for Mumu Arp. Appreciate your help! Thank you . Eveni Tafiti.
