I am digging for roots! I am a fifth generation
Chinese American. My great-great grandmother was
born in Monterey, CA in the 1860's. Her birth cert.
states that her parents were cannery workers.
My great-greatgrandfather was born in Placerville, CA
around the same
time. I'm searching for others who might be related,
or who might know something about the Chinese who
lived in these areas during the 1800's.
