Try Thomas Tsu-wee Tan, "Your Chinese Roots:The Overseas Chinese Story. Heian Press. ISBN 0-89346-285-3, 1986. 262p in English. His book focuses on overseas Chinese in Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, and Britain.
With page 218-219 on the "Wang" surname.
