To answer your question with the shortest answer...it just depends on the dialect from which your part of the Soo-Hoo/SuJo/Su Tu/Si Tu/Seto/Szeto clan lived while in China. Were they toisan or canton? This determines the pronunciation of the last name and the translation into English. Soo-Hoo is toisan while Seto and Szeto
are more of the Cantonese speaking parts of the family. Su Tu and Si Tu are the mandarine pronunciation of the family name.
