Canton is not the name of the Province of Guangdong but it is the English name for the city of Guangzhou. This is a common error of assumption by similar sounds.
: Chung San (Zhong San) is a part of Canton(Guangdong). Not too great a presence in the US, although I believe a big immigrant population to HI and Oakland, CA.
