My wife, Fung Shui-kau was born into a farming family in Cho Pui village, Chung Shan, near the border of Macao. Soon after her birth, her father died. She had four brothers and one sister. She was the youngest. The oldest was fifteen. This was 1953. The mother gave her up for adoption through Macao to a Hong family in order to prevent starvation. Several years later the oldest brother came to Hong Kong, and worked in a bakery. He later started his own bakery and the rest of the family joined. Would like to know more about the family and it's history in China if possible.
