Depending on the dialect and the language it was transliterated too you could get an infinite variation.

I have a feeling the name Dee could be the character for 'thank you'. In the US, I've seen all these used for that character - Der, Tse, Xie.

Damasuren is probably an Indonesian (or that language group, Malay) name and not necessarily havkng to do w/the Chinese name at all. As I mentioned b/4 in Thailand and Indonesia, Chinese are not allowed to use their own names, but MUST have a Thai or Indonesian surname.

Many names in China are in Korea and Vietname b/c way back when China was either in power there or influenced them greatly. The Cho character is grass.
