My family history is Ma, or Mar. I don't know the name of the village. my grandfather came over when he was 12. He came over and worked for his uncle. The uncle was one of four brothers. I haven't heard of too many Ma's or Mars from Toisan. You appear to be one of a rare few. I've been working on a family history/genealogy, of course I can only go back as far as my great grand father and his brothers. My uncle has a copy of the entire Ma history which he has yet to provide me a copy. I believe it goes back over 500 years or more. It list every child born in the village. My father is a paper son, which means his father bought papers for him. That is why I'm a Wong now. Let me know any information you may have.
