Firstly hello to everyone.

I am researching my family history, my mother is English and my Father is chinese, born in Hong Kong in 1928. I unfortunatly don't speak or write Cantonese so wondered if any one could point me in the right direction regarding research I am in the U.K. As far as I know the character for my "type" of LI is the one that "means" plum. I know my Grandmothers family name was LAI, I will try and find more details when I see my Father.
