The "surname" Poonaffat sounds like a complete name, where Poon is the surname and Affat the person's personal name. The "Af" is an appellation, while "Fat" is the person's personal name. It could mean prosper.

Ahong on the other hand is just a personal name, where "A" is the appellation and "hong" the person's name. It could mean healthy.

: My parents are from Trinidad and Tobago. My mom is East Indian and Spanish, and my dad is black, with some East Indian in him as well. We have family members that are Chinese and Spanish (mom's side). Their surnames are Poonaffat and Ahong. Any of you know these surnames?
