I am also looking for any information or ways of finding out about my ancestors from Hokkien. My father's mother was a Soo Kim TAN from hokkien. My father's name is Edward Alfred PALMER, his father was Thomas Alexander PALMER and he was Eurasian.
I have my father birth certificate and that is about all the information I have.
