I couldn't resist. The last name exists in Korea as well.
The character for my surname is "ki" (miraculous, strange; I think it is 'qi' in Mandarin)
There is only one origin for the surname in Korea and
our family registry states that there are around 3,500
families bearing the surname of Korean descent.
