My gradfather was a Lau. He immigrated to the US in the early 1900s. He came from the Canton region.
his village was Tai Leung (village), Chung Lau, Tai Shan, Kwong Tong, China. He changed his name (himself) to Harry Check Law. Any information on Lau would be helpful.
