Hoy Ping is one of the villages outside of Guangzhou and is classified as Sei Yap like Toy San, Sun Wui, and Yen Ping. The dialect is very similar.
Where are you? I know of a Gor family in Houston as well as a Go family. There are also Goh's but they're not usually Cantonese, I think Fujian/Teochew. The only people I know that spell their name that way is from Singapore.
