My gggrandfather was born in the fishing port
Amoy China around the year 1837. The only information that I have on him is his name
John Yammer...Yamma
We do not know when he came to Australia or how he arrived here. He married an English girl named Mary Ann Duckett and they had four children.
Sadly he fell off a horse 1872 and was killed.
Would anyone have any information on the name Yammer...Yamma that could help me please.
